I added on for 1,000 or 5,000 extra backings, is there no extra shipping cost?
As stated in the Add-on description, in the FAQ for Maker Tier shipping, and in the campaign; Shipping for ADD-ONS for Maker Tier and Bulk Tier will be charged separately.
This is because if we charged the same amount per add-on for these tiers, we would be overcharging for shipping. Since the shipping cost for shipping 2,000 pieces is not double the cost of shipping 1,000 pieces.
However since each backing will vary in shape and therefore weight, we will be invoicing the additional shipping costs separately. Please keep this in mind when you add-on Maker Tier or Bulk Tier items.

How to add Add-Ons after you’ve already pledged?
Add-ons are integrated by Kickstarter to allow you to add new items to your pledge without having to change tiers. Add-ons are available for selection when you first pledge.
To Add On items after you’ve pledged, navigate to the campaign page and look for a pop-up towards the top of the page that reads “Manage Your Pledge”. From there click the “Change Your Pledge” button, and you will be able to manage your pledge and pledge for any additional add-on items.

Maker Tier Shipping
Shipping for Maker pledges for the base tiers are calculated in the campaign. Add-on shipping costs will be invoiced and collected separately due to varying weights and shipping costs between clutch designs.
The designs you order will determine which methods you will be invoiced. Each maker will invoice you via their platform of choice. If you are getting multiple designs from different makers, only one of the makers will be invoicing you for shipping. The shipping costs will reflect the weight of the amount pin backs you pledged for.

How do stretch goals/unlocks work?
he main goal for the kickstarter is the purple Sakura Pin Backs. After the main goal is reached, the stretch goals will unlock by the amount of funds the project has. Once we pass the dollar amount for a goal, the goal is unlocked. However if the kickstarter drops below the set goal amount, that goal will become locked again. Whatever amount the kickstarter has been funded by the end of the campaign will decide which goals are unlocked. However, since the kickstarter has now reached the base goal, even if pledges drop the project will still at least retain the funds to make the initial purple Sakura Pin Backs. Both the Pink and Purple Sakura Backs will be available to choose at the first unlock.

If I add-on for more pin backs, do they all have to be of the same design?
You can mix and match pin backs by batches of pieces (20 pcs, 100 pcs, 1,000 pcs, 5,000 pcs ect). If you pledge for pin backs, each add-on can be for the same or for a different unlocked design.
So for example if you pledged for the Collector Tier 100 pin backs, and added on 2 sets of 100 pin backs. You would be getting 300 pin backs in total, but you would be pledging for 3 sets of 100 pieces of pins backs of one design and one color. You could get 100 pin backs of 3 different designs, or 200 of one design and 100 of another design, or 300 pin backs of all the same designs. But you could not split a set of 100 pin backs into 50 pieces of 2 designs.
However if you pledge for the Maker Tier - 1,000 pin backs, you cannot separate the 1,000 pin backs into 500 pieces of 2 designs. Since the tier is for 1,000 pieces of one design of pin back, in only one color.

What is BackerKit?
BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!
The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.
How does BackerKit work?
After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.
I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?
The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.
Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.
To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.
How do I update my shipping address?
BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.
When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?
That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.
I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?
As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
